Summary

This famous boat museum in Douarnenez prides itself of presenting a world of maritime know-how. From the hardships of fishing to the pleasures of yachting, tiny Breton boats to great African vessels, the Boat Museum has an enviable collection that includes 30 full-size boats, on display to the public.

Coastal traditions and modern technology are equally illustrated,particularly the sardine and fishing industry that has made Douarnenez so famous.
