MYTHS, FOLKLORE and LEGENDS

Historical fact or tall tales, celtic heritage or local folklore  - our stories date back many centuries and are endlessly captivating.

Handed down from generation to generation around flickering fires or shared during festivals and banquets, these legends are widespread and feature in many books and studies.

Many of the characters seem to come from Celtic roots.

The lost city of La Ville d’Ys>

A king, a haughty princess and a city lost under the waves

Tristan and Isolde>

Love potions, adultery, exile and forgiveness

King Marc'h with the ears of a horse>

A merciless king who lived to regret his lack of pity
